Bio
Darrell Lynn Jones was the founding executive director of one of the first Rehabilitation Act, Title VII funded CILs in the country, Rochester (NY) Center for Independent Living. Subsequently she was the founding executive director of the Association of Independent Living Centers in New York where she led the successful effort to make CILs a state statutory program. Jones served as ILRU's IL-NET Program Coordinator for seven years, and Project Director for five years. Jones served as Interim Executive Director of the National Council on Independent Living (NCIL) from 2022 - 2023.
